What started as a side hustle quickly became a full-blown passion, combining my love of storytelling with a hobby that’s as dynamic as the people within it.

I’ve learned a lot along the way—mostly that there’s always more to discover in this community. What really excites me is the people in the hobby. The passion, the hustle, the way everyone finds their niche in the world of cards—whether it’s growing a collection or turning breaks into a side business. As someone with a background in public relations, I wanted to bring a new approach to the hobby. Through "Behind the Breaks," I aim to create a space for collectors, breakers, and buyers to share their stories, insights, and tips. It’s a place to connect, learn, and celebrate the wins, big and small. I’m here to help grow this incredible community by shining a light on the stories that deserve to be told.

I’ve been a passionate card collector since the early 1990s. Growing up near Chicago during Michael Jordan’s iconic run, I was completely hooked on basketball cards, spending a decade building a collection that captured my love for the game and its greatest players.

Like many collectors, I took a break from the hobby for a while, but my love for it never really faded. When I got back into it, I found myself drawn to baseball cards and quickly realized just how much the hobby had evolved. That rekindled passion led me to co-found Two Packs a Day, where my team and I help connect collectors with the cards they’re chasing. Whether it’s selling on eBay, hosting live breaks, or running card-selling shows, I love being part of the action.

For me, it’s not just about the cards—it’s about the community. I enjoy sharing tips, celebrating big pulls, and hearing the stories that make this hobby so special. It’s amazing to be part of a world where passion, hustle, and connection all come together.
